     प्रकट अधिमान सिद्धांत   The Theory of Revealed Preference   प्रकट अधिमान सिद्धांत के प्रतिपादक प्रोफेसर सैमुअल्सन अपने सिद्धांत को ' मांग के तार्किक सिद्धांत का तीसरा मूल' मानते हैं। प्रोफेसर  सैैैैैैमुअल्सन का सिद्धांत मांग के नियम की व्यवहारात्मक दृष्टिकोण से व्याख्या करता है। इस सिद्धांत से पूर्व मार्शल द्वारा विकसित उपयोगिता विश्लेषण हिक्स- एलन का उदासीनता वक्र विश्लेषण उपभोक्ता के मांग वक्र की मनोवैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से व्याख्या करते हैं।         प्रोफेसर सैम्यूलसन ने उपभोक्ता व्यवहार की दो मान्यताओं के आधार पर मांग के नियम की मूलभूत परिणाम निकालने का प्रयास किया है। यह मान्यताएं हैं: (1) अनेक उपलब्ध विकल्पों में से उपभोक्ता एक निश्चित चुनाव करता है। दूसरे शब्दों में वह अपने निश्चित अधिमान को प्रकट करता है यह मान्यता इस सिद्धांत को सबल क्रम की श्रेणी में रख देती है। (2) यदि अनेक विकल्पों में से संयोग B की तुलना एक परिस्थिति में संयोग A का चुनाव कर लिया गया है तो किसी अन्य परिस्थिति में यदि संयोग A तथा सहयोग B में पुनः...
