Ans . Both adults and children behaved almost in the same manner when they faced danger . Adult members of the ship did not lose hope . They fought the sea for their survival . They did all their possible efforts to save themselves . Finally they succeeded . The children were not afraid . They thought that they were going to die . Jon said that they were not afraid of dying if they could all be together . The children got injuries but did not mention them to their parents .

2. How does the story suggest that optimism helps to “ endure the direst stress " ?  कहानी कैसे सुझाती है कि आशावादिता " खतरनाक से खतरनाक तनाव को सहन करने " में सहायता करती है ?

We learn that when death is before us , we realise that there is a thin boundary between life and death . These experiences show that we can delude even death if we are optimistic . The story narrates such an experience . The narrator and his family faced danger . Death was before them . But all fought together and won at last .
